Cam is basically the LeBron of the NFL. He has SIZE, athletic ability and gifts that very few if any possess at his position. He's very charismatic and confident in his ability and isnt afraid to say it. He was successful in college despite a media led "scandal", and he seemed to have fun and relish proving his naysayers wrong his rookie year. All that has bred haters. GET USED TO IT! Cam is a great QB and is poised to have a great career but with that will come "nitpick" type scrutiny and standards that other QBs (including an RG3) will not be held to. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SOMETHING PEOPLE DONT LIKE ABOUT CAM. Its the gift and the curse of greatness.

SVP is one of the few at ESPN that I do like... he's obviously entitled to his opinion and we're obviously entitled to disagree with him...

I think what a lot of people see in Cam is that his intense desire to win comes across as arrogance... I don't think it's that at all. I just think he wants to win so badly, it comes across in a way some people don't like.

Then why doesn't he see that in Drew and every other NFL player that "celebrates" after they score. That such fuging bullshit. If he would ever watch the Panthers, he would know that Cam always is happy for his teammates and always celebrates with them. Sure he takes a second to do his superman thing but Jimmy Graham, Tony Gonzalez and others take a second to slam dunk the ball through the goal post. Or packers players take a second to do a lambo leap before they celebrate with their teammates. I understand he is entitled to his opinion, but he should not form an opinion if he doesn't even watch what actually happens and stop hating on Cam for doing something that every other player in the NFL does. Cam always acknowledges his teammates anytime he has success doing anything.

Cam knows what this city/team/fans need. It needs someone to take center stage. He embraced it w respect and honor and hasnt looked back. People are jealous and it shows. We are lucky to have Cam and he aint changin...
