I think a good portion of the hate on A.Edwards was his costly draft position that has yielded very little for the team so far.

Definitely. And even the most die hard fan would have to think that having one less mediocre receiver would be a great trade off or filling some gaps elsewhere on the team--- a roster spot for another quality D player. Oh well, it is what it is.

And by the way, I'm not arguing AE should be the return guy--- just that Adams isn't making me think he is a better choice. In fact, I think we should try somebody else.

No doubt. Of course, that hate is probably better directed at the person responsible for that: Marty.

Joe Adams sucks cock and should be in a tshirt beside pickles the rest of the season.

A KR and PR are played by a team so blame Adams if you like but this is like tossing the baby with the bathwater.

Adams has refused to do what he does the past couple games. Rather than use his speed and elusiveness to try and cut it outside for the big play, he's intent on marching straight on ahead through a group of tacklers, getting the sure three yards, and being brought down.

Coaches reigned him in, which was a shame. I'd have easily taken the occasional five yard loss traded off with the frequent explosive play.

Sorry, I'll PM you in the future to ask if the threads I'm considering are worthwhile. I'm not sure if you've noticed, but this is a message board for a football team.

Who has said anything like this?

Adams doesn't get a pass but armanti has had his chances.

He was the worst punt returner in the league last year. Time to move on.

And, Joe Adams is worst kick-off returner THIS year!

Great. So Adams sucks so far this year, Armanti has sucked for three years and we should find an alternative to both.

Go with Pilares/Munnerlyn and re-evaluate Adams again next year

Notice Armanti returned the ball further than Adams did on his return as well - despite the holding call.

Yes because Armanti was a superstar his rookie season. He didn't fumble everytime the ball was kicked to him or anything.
