Don't know why we can't line up this way, since we seem insistent to have Deangelo run inside the tackles anyway for the most part.

Agreed, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to send DWill up the gut to get crushed and Tolbert to the edge. I mean WTF, DeAngelo is so fugging dangerous out in space and a guy that is 5'9" 245 lbs. like Tolbert should be able to bulldoze his way up the gut, yet our coaches do the exact opposite during the fugging game. Guess it really doesn't matter, the way our OLine was playing we could have had fugging Barry Sanders and it wouldn't have made a difference. I sure as hell hope the embarrasment I and ALOT of others are feeling is 10 fold to our players. They've gotta know that they were the laughing stock of the NFL last night. Pure gutlessness from our players and emotionless coaches who look like they couldn't coach a pop warner team = the disaster we all had to endure last night. They better get it together QUICK! Unfortunately, I dunno if this team has the heart to do that.

If we didn't have the personnel to do it, I'd understand staying away from the "I" so much. But we do, and that's what makes this all so baffling.

Further, I don't have a problem with the read-option being a part of the run game, but it can't be *the* run game.

Cam can throw the football. He is capable of lining up under center, dropping back, and throwing the football. I know. I have seen him do it, and he is capable of doing it well.

Why we're so paralyzingly scared of running a conventional offense is beyond me. I knew from the very first time we tried to run the option last night, when the defender stayed home to hit Cam regardless of what he did with the pitch, that NY was ready for it.

Yet Chud was like so enamored with the medias obsession with it he refused to burn it.

Our offense is capable of being run conventionally. We have a good QB who can throw the ball very well and does so when he isn't trying to force something to happen when we dig a hole for ourselves like we did last night.

We have good receiving weapons. We have good RBs.

We have an OL that wouldn't have looked nearly as bad last night if 95% of the plays we ran involved some delay in the backfield prior to taking off.

We are capable of running a normal offense.

Lol. 95% of the plays we run look exactly the same and out of the shotgun. Running this same stuff does nothing for cams development under center
