Take a look at their midfield shield and comprare it to ours. Speaks volumes on where the priorities of the two teams lie.

Reason #47-2

Great post! I couldn't agree more!

I remember like 3-4 seasons ago. They tried to get the crowd to do some special cheers right before kick off. Fell flatter than some a-cup titties. They tried though. That was on the crowd. Panthers fans are WAY too timid.

The discrepancy in quality of the product put on the field is even larger than the discrepancy in the crowd atmosphere.

Very well said.

Panthers fans have had vanilla boring football shoved down our throats for 17 years. Hard to build a home field advantage when were going 8-8 or worse in all but four seasons of this franchise.

Mediocrity breeds contempt and boredom in the stadium.

PSL Holders (which I am one, so i feel I can say this) are part of the problem, however the larger issue at hand is the product. Give us a couple winning seasons and this point becomes moot. The atmosphere is only as good as the product.

2008 Tampa Bay MNF game, no one, and I mean NO ONE, was complaining about the atmosphere at the Stadium.

Man i wish this team put value on important positions. Chandler Jones is gonna be a great DE. could have been ours.

Yea I agree, the rules and mentality there is pretty lame.

"Sit down I can't see" said at a football game, embarrassing.

When people tell that to me i sure as hell don't sit down

I'm a fan of this team despite the shitty excuse for a fanbase. I hate this whole "take us to the playoffs first, then I might cheer...maybe" mentality. I hate that tickets either end up in the hands of fans from the opposing team or people that don't even like football. I hate that I can clearly hear the other team's fans when watching it at home. I hate that BoA has the atmosphere of a silent auction. I hate that people think it's obnoxious and rude to stand and make noise. I hate the "family friendliness". I hate the radio pop being blasted on the speakers. I hate that people go to the game because they love sports, but they don't like football. I hate that people there cheer louder for cars going in circles really fast. I hate that yuppie fine young males bring their uppity hos to the game for a date because they think Panther tickets = basketball/movie tickets. I hate that the people seated closer to the field are a bunch of limp snobs. I hate that this team has existed for 17 years and Carolina still doesn't give a sh*t. I hate that the owner is okay with this.

I'm from Texas, former Oilers fan, wondering what the hell is wrong with you guys....
