How would you handle Cam?

I'd hire Chris Weinke to be the assistant QB coach.

you throw him right back into the next game. cant get any better with practice and multiple mental reps. cam will be fine. speaking of leadership, where are the defensive leaders? i am tired of all this cam talk. he's got the offense. but he cant single handily win every game on his own when the defense allows the other offense to score on almost every drive. that's too much pressure for even the great quarterbacks of this league. we need to be talking about defensive leaders and who should get benched for trying to arm tackle a nobody RB!

Line up all the players and get Cam to go down the row and knock the Shia out of them.

This was posted on a Tampa Bucs Blog.

Remember, for Cam they used the Auburn playbook last season, same thing the Redskins are doing with RG3 and the Baylor playbook, they are giving these young QBs the comfort zone of working within a system they know, and as we have seen so far with Cam this season, once the teama start breaking that comfort zone with their own playbooks you will see some regression. Damn, sounds very familiar, new systems, regression, hmmmm.

IF this is true, then shame on Rivera for messing Cam all up.

The problem is that we have not broken from it. On the contrary, we are running more or it.

The zone read is now our base offense....and it does not work in the NFL. Similar to the Wildcat, these "gimmick" style offenses are only successful for short periods of time. The defenses figure it out and the speed in the NFL is too great.

Chud needs to get his head out of his ass and istall an NFL level offense...with wrinkles of the read option. The fact that he isn't is concerning to me. Either he is in over his head, or Cam still does not have the ability to get out of his read option comfort zone. don't know which, but both are issues.

-Order up some top-shelf escorts, let them service young Cameron and have a talkin to with him after he's all relaxed...

-Promise him pre-game blumpkins?

-To get him to understand the severity of the situation, have teh Jimmy suit up on Sunday...

-To show him what he looks like, have Capt or Godfrey sit & sulk with a towel after they get burned...

Cam should probably get some coaching on how he handles himself in press conferences, but that's about it as far as I can see. He has been fine in the huddle this year. Much better than last year.

As to the solution for him sitting alone with a dejected look on his face with 5 minutes to go and us down 33-7, just don't get down 33-7 and there won't be a problem.

Seriously, fix the defense so he doesn't have to try to pull a miracle every week, and he will be fine.

Rivera said he would handle Cam "his way", so if you were the coach of the Panthers, how would you handle Cam and his sideline tactics? Do you bench him for a game? A half? A quarter or a few drives? He may act like he gets it, but when the chips are down, he always reverts back to his old ways. I've never even seen Cam look at arial photos or talk with teammates on how to execute better or recognize what the defense is doing. He needs to be a team player and even more-so a team leader. If love that Smitty chewed him out, but if Smitty was wrong for doing it, how would you handle Cam and his emotional rollercoaster? Flame away and JIF appoved!!

Bench his ass....Nothing sends a better "you're not above the team" message

Bench him for what? C'mon, tell us exactly what he should be benched for a give us a specific example.

What about others? Do any other members of our team deserve a benching after that performance?

Enlighten us please.

Cam could place a call to Matt Ryan of the Falcons. I think listening to a humble winner like Ryan would help Cam greatly. I don't think getting yelled at by a narcissistic idiot with a Napoleon complex will do much in the long term.

Yeah Ryan could tell Cam what it's like to win a playoff game.

Or Cam could tell Matty what it feels like to win a National Championship and go undefeated.

I can't believe how fugging silly some foolks are. Are you seriously making so much out of Cam's towel just because the media decided too?

The guy sits on the side with a fugging towel on his head and all you folks sit and read all kinds of crazy ish into it. I simply can't with you folks.

Is every player the media turn into a side-show you're going to run with and add your crazy two cent. You should be more concerned with your receiver but instead you concerned about a kid the media has decided to turn into their own personal reality show because he helpd a not so media friendly college team win a championship. Think about that?

You have now placed Cam into the same barrel and Dez Bryant, Terrelle Owens, and Chad Ocho, based on nothing more than media fodder.

Yep, you are really looking for a championship team with this kid aren't you.
