Finally caught this week's episode - it was okay and a little forced - like an episode of 24.
When they were filming back in October, one of the producers was talking about filming multiple endings for this year. Idiotically listened in on the conversation and spoiled it - but it seems like the good one makes the final cut (based on this episode at least).

They renewed it for season 3 - but next season will take on a whole new aspect of the show after seeing the finale.

I've watched about half of the series and I really don't see what the big deal about it is. Yes, it's good but I really don't see why it gets so much unanimous praise. I don't think the lead woman is very likable and I think they made a big mistake by not having Brody turn into a full on bad guy. To make things worse they constantly build things up and end up having no real payoff to it.
Like I said though, I don't think it's bad, just not as amazing as everyone else seems to think it is.
