^^ I agree. TWD has been absolutely top notch this season...better than GoT or BB. All in all BB and GoT are better shows, but for this season...

yeah, the last two seasons aren't even in the discussion with GoT or BrBa. as a whole WD is just now getting to where it can be mentioned in the same sentence.

It's pretty obvious that TWD has reached places it hadn't last year. I have been hooked on the show since Day 1. However, a lot of the people I know, along with the numerous FB posts I've read, you can tell are new to the show. You can tell this because they were all pissed off and didn't understand why they had to wait to watch the rest of season 3 in Feb.

lolz

I watched the first half of GOT before we got rid of HBO. It was good and interesting and I enjoyed it. I would like to eventually catch up. However, it never gave me the "OMG I gotta get home on sunday night to watch it!" feeling.

Breaking Bad - I watched this during the summer and blew through the first 4 seasons in less than a month. Incredible show from top to bottom. Immediately hooked. One of the best shows I've ever seen on TV.

TWD - favorite show on TV. Have gotten many of my friends hooked. Even got my mom hooked on this show. I love zombie apocolypse stuff and this is the best of that genre. Tremendously done from top to bottom. One of my top 3 shows of all time.

Boardwalk Empire - Loved this show too. Would prob rank it #2 behind TWD currently. HBO stuff is top notch and this is the cream of the crop.

I was mostly joking...

It says a lot that I didn't even watch an episode of TWD before a couple months ago... I watched seasons 1 and 2 in a matter of days, just in time for the season 3 premiere.

Since then, I've also read all the comics...

Great comic. Great show. I'd actually put the show up there with GoT as a whole, with the potential to be at least an equal over the span of the entirety of both series.

Seriously, who doesn't want to punch Andrea in the face?

Your avatar is basically what I want to do to Andrea. Seriously she needs to die.

I agree with everything you said here....and feel the same way. Just replace Mom with Wife on WD

Love Walking Dead too.

For me it is something like this:

1. Dexter - unbelievable psychological/character depth/growth

2. Breaking Bad - Excellent show. Again very good character development.

3. Walking Dead - Awesome. Hard to believe anyone could pull off a zombie show so well. I was a fan of old zombie movies growing up, but did not follow the show immediately because I did not believe it was possible to pull this off in a high quality way. Eventually this show is going to catch up to the comics, sooner rather than later--I kinda hope the show is prepared to go on without the comic... but doubt that happens. I would love to see Carl 10 years or so in the future as a hardened badass from growing up in this world.

4. Game of Thrones - High quality production, but so many characters spread the depth quite thin (the opposite of Dexter). But it is just a different kind of show--it is a big picture show on a global scale with armies being moved around etc like a game of Risk. Also, sometimes I feel like this show tries to be over the top and offensive just to be offensive. I am sure this is from the books, but I am still quite let down by the death of Ned Stark. Also, I want bad things to happen to the worse characters, ala the child king, yet I am constantly let down by this as well. With this show the "good guys" never seem to win. I wish it were more balanced.

lol... be patient...

Nobody is safe... and this is something that kind of echoes with TWD that I enjoy... It is just more realistic when the good guys aren't untouchable, and anyone is prone to dying at any given moment...
