Here are the episode synopses up until the fall finale. the one for episode 7 and 8 MAY be a bit of spoiler, just with their titles and the synopsis of each, but it isn't anything too deep. I'll put them in tags anyway.

Synopsis: Michonne makes a decision about Woodbury; Glenn and Maggie go on a run; Rick struggles.

• S03EP07: When the Dead Come Knocking.

Date: November 25th.
Synopsis: The governor seeks information; a new guest at the prison forces Rick’s hand.

• S03EP08: Made to Suffer.

Date: December 02th.
Synopsis: Andrea steps up when the people of Woodbury are thrown into uncharted territory; a new threat arises at the prison.

Last nights episode was a tad slower than previous ones, but it sets up some good stuff and had some good action at points.

Michonne is clearly the baddest-assed one on the show... Daryl continues to get better and better as a character and Rick has clearly lost it...

I think the Merle hostage situation leads Rick to send Daryl (willingly) to meet with Merle and try to get Glen and what's her name back... and Daryl ends up killing Merle... just my speculation, no spoilers or proof that that is coming...


As a side note, Andrea is looking damn good... haven't really noticed her being that attractive in the past... maybe they're dolling her up a bit for the sex stuff with the Gov?

Well, prior to this episode, she's been dirty and tired looking. i think they definitely dolled her up some...plus showing that shot of her in bed was breath-taking, to put it lightly.


I liked the episode. Gave Daryl more depth and they're REALLY buttering him up to meet up with Merle. They're drawing a clear distinction between he and Merle with his story to Carl and his reaction to thinking that Carol was dead, plus his reaction to finding her.

I think Rick is coming back around, which is good. I like the luna-Rick (lol), but the show doesn't need to span too many episodes with him being completely detached from the group. It is great that they showed the start of his healing process and I'm glad they took a slightly different approach with the phone than they did in the comics. Really added to the story, I feel.

I agree that next episode, Daryl goes to Woodbury (or they at least scout it out). Daryl will kill Merle. I don't see any other way that they do it. It has to be that. Michonne finding the prison made me very happy.

Once again, I'm already excited for next Sunday to see what happens, but I like the direction the show is taking and where it seems to be leading.

I really hope that Maggie doesn't meet the same fate as Michonne did in the comics. But since one of the upcoming episode titles is "made to suffer" chances are she will.

They still haven't showed the walker that looks like Daryl from the season 3 preview clips, and they are buttering him up character-wise to become a favorite character and then they'll kill him (ala GRRM)...

I think Merle and Daryl are both gone at the end of S3...

merle will die, which will prompt the governor to retaliate against rick and the gang, and daryl will be beheaded by the governor instead of tyreese

That will suck if they kill off Daryl. But they are running out of people in Rick's group to kill off...

There was never a walker that looked like Daryl. The walker you're referencing was actually seen already back in the 2nd episode, it was the one the prisoners went all prison-yard on and Axel stabbed like, 10 times in the stomach.

Daryl dying and being replaced by Tyreese is possible, but I just don't see it happening.

if you really think that matters then you haven't been paying attention. daryl will not live through season 3

I think the group dynamics matter. This is why I think Daryl will stick around for now but its still early in the season so that can change. His character may have served his purpose by that time especially if we get introduced to tyrese.
