One of my biggest concerns at the moment is how the defense is getting pushed around. I don't mean it in a figurative sense, but literally against the run the pile moving 5 yards and our guys getting knocked back. I can't remember a time when this happened as often.

The most troubling thing is that our guys are no less strong or heavy as in the past, but it seems to be an attitude. The defense reacting more instead of dictating, allowing the will of the offense to push the pile forward.

What will it take for these guys to get angry?

I think the coaching has a lot to do with it. It's like their telling them to read and react. In the other hand, Pete Carroll and Wisenhunt are telling their guys to play downhill and attack the line.

Not as often as it does not. The pile is always moving against us even after the tackle is being made.

an angry player.

the panthers need to find a player who has a chip on their shoulder and allow their attitude to infect the other defensive players.

there's no one remotely close to that on the roster right now.

if the defense doesn't turn it around in a significant way this year we could see that change happening in january. i doubt we see it happen any time before that.
