this upends my plan for a six-month archaeological expedition that was to take place starting in january and span five continents.
it's exciting, terrifying, joyous, devastating, all at once.

2. This gives you more of a reason to make the expedition about 9 months long instead of 6.
3. Child support laws are not enforceable unless you return to the country and your wife lists you as the father of the child on the birth certificate.
