Agreed sylvian. Cop should have shot him dead. Especially if the kid was black.

all i learned from reading this thread is that rodeo thinks kids with autism aren't people and don't deserve access to public schools

Coming from law enforcement the cop did everything he was supposed to do. The decision to handcuff him probably saved the kid from other injuries. Do you think the story would have been worse if the officer tried to tackle him or wrestle him or submit him? Some of these mentally challenged kids out there are strong for real And when your on the job I don't feel like getting hurt while trying to be politically correct. I do think charging him with assault was overboard, but we don't know; he might be a high functioning autistic who knew what he was doing. The whole evil cops thing has no basis.

You are quite funny.

I have a masters degree in business and I am a corporate communications manager for At&t.

But the great Rodeo says I'm challenged so it must be true.... ;)

In the Education thread today you said that you were 24 years old and the Sales Manager for a car dealership.

Now you say that you are a corporate communications manager for AT&T.

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm.

I do work at a car dealership, But seeing as I just finished my Masters and accepted the At&t job just a couple weeks ago (I havn't started yet I have to go to Atlanta for corprate training in Nov. and I am dreading it) I was using my job at the dealership as an example I earned the job through hard work, and I didn't need a degree to get it and make 100k+ while at the same time finishing my degree.

Hard work pays off those willing to do it will suceed.

I will be happy to send you links in P.M that can prove both.

"I'm 24 years old and I have my own country thanks to hard work and perseverance."
