ET Mummy Found In Egypt: Photo Leaked By Cairo Museum Insider

my favorite part from the article is:

I have included the accompanying text exactly as it was translated from Egyptian.

The problem, of course, is that there is no Egyptian language. Arabic is the primary language spoken there.

Just so fugging stupid.

It would be stupid if you were right. Egyptian is the second oldest known language on the planet, behind Sumerian, and is said to date back to 3400 BC. Only recently in 1700 AD has Egyptian been replaced with Arabic as the official language.

You miss my point. Egyptian is not used today, especially not in the press. The "article" made out like the Antiquities Department sent something out or otherwise wrote something in Egyptian, which just wouldn't happen.

All business and all official communications there are in Arabic. When you're walking around Egypt (which I have done) you hear and see nothing except Arabic and English.
