Get rid of the read option!

I am tired of that play. it limits our offense. Only thing the opposing defense has to do is run downhill and stuff the play for may be a 2 yard gain? i am with Steve Smith " take those plays and put them in a tin garbage can and burn em, because they don't work!"

they are fine to use occasionally, but we practically base our offense around them.

I couldn't agree more. I like it but I don't like that they run it most of the time. It seems to take too long to develop and slows the rb down too much especially against a good d line that knows whats coming. Heck Ive seen on more than one occasion where the d was almost back there to take the handoff

I don't want to get rid of it, I just don't want to rely so heavily on it.

Everyone was quick to point out how Cam wasn't a running QB, yet now they look to feature him more and more as a runner.

Throw the damn ball.
