We have to actually start winning those "winnable" games 1st and it starts with Seattle.

Only if Stewart is hurt. We are consistant with him.....glaringly different without

I saw nothing today that led me to believe Stewart was the difference.

Williams saw most of the plays but they both had 11/10 carries with about the same results.

The offense did well regardless.

I may have bought into this sentiment before this game.

What did Stewart do today that made us go?

The number of Wuffies in the stands that day will be disgusting.

I would argue that other than Cam it was Olsen who was the offensive spark of this game.

We're at that point in the season where people get their hopes up because we came close to beating a "good team".

Much like hanging with the SB champs Green Bay last year and Cam throwing for 400 yards.

"We're so close we just need to learn how to finish!" We all know how that season went. 1-3 and we're heading that way again.

i'm glad every one is optimistic but man to be honest i can't see us winning over 6 depending on how the coaching staff response, if nakumura isn't bench i guarantee we won't win over 6,if play calling isn't change, if personal changes aren't made, and more. It all depends on Seattle....if we play like we did today there's hope, we could easily go 10-6 if the d line plays like that week in and out, cam plays like he did. but that consistency has yet to be established.

This.

Agreed... with a CBA firmly in place, a season-shortening lockout is assured not to happen. So I'm with you about 9-3 being an impossibility.

we are currently 1-3, OP stated we could go 10-6, meaning a 9-3 finish. i assume you were just being sarcastic but i felt the need to explain myself anyway because im an insecure fug.

Um, the offense actually functioned......has every game he played this year. We averaged 200+ yards on the ground this year when he plays...30 when he hasn't. Offense functions just like it did last year with him. Not just about what he does with his touches....

Like I said, playbook and offense opens up....offense functions and works. It is glaring when he isn't part of the gameplan. Defenses play a different game with Stewart.

I keep saying it......and the production keeps supporting it.

Heck, look at our first score....Newton runs better with Stewart in there. Longest run of the game was by who?

Was it Stewart or Tolbert who had that wicked block on a DE?

Longest run of the game was by Cam...

So Stewart simply suits up and the offense just BAM plays better?

We need to find one of those for the defense, then we'll really be in good shape.
