He said that Martin would get more reps and that he had a great camp. He's going to start Martin. He's just not going to announce it too the world. It will be just like how we found out that Adams wasn't doing either return job - on game day.

Does anyone else think Fox puts too long a leash on some of these guys? He wants to be a players coach and let them play through their screwups, which is fine, but when you have a horrid first half, and then a horrid 3rd quarter, maybe it's just not your day and you should put in a fresh pair of legs.

I made one subtle change to your post. Now pretend it's 2009. Does it fit?

We're going around in circles.

Lol this time last year everyone was calling for Martin's head.

Anyway, see ya Haruki....never thought I'd see the day where someone was worst than what Sherrod displayed last year.

Nak doesn't have the physical tools nor the mental awareness. Martin has the physical tools but didn't have the mental awareness.

This is a no brainer.

Sherrod has gotten beat while trying to do too much. He would take a route to the ball to try and pick it when he should have taken a route to tackle instead. Nak just looks lost.

The sooner Martin is starting the better, I can live with a couple boneheaded missed tackles and blown coverages because he is still far more athletic and has more range.

He said the exact same thing regarding Joe Adams last week. I expect Nakamura to see lots of pine this week.

That is a great way of putting it sir. I am still laughing "pine" because thats how our coach used to refer to it back in the day. Yeah he did talk about Joe Adams and I thought they were maybe going to work him in the game. Then I checked the inactives and was like damn, didn't even get a jersey. Naka can't tackle or cover so its about time. Sherrod should get a chane at least since he has played hard on special teams.

Martin needs to start, Keuchly needs to go the full time MLB and Beason/Davis can rotate on the weakside.

If this happens I believe we will have a dramatic improvment in our defense since we have finally discovered our pass rush (I think the refs being back helped because the Olines knew they couldnt get away with as much holding)

Naka is no better than the bum Sean Considine who didn't even make it out of the preseason with us last year. Whiffed on tackles, always out of position, couldn't cover, same poo.

I guess because he backed up the amazing Ed Reed and was a part of the vaunted Baltimore Ravens, he was given more creedence. The proof is on the field - he can't hack it. Next up.
