making the playoffs is one thing...making something happen in the playoffs is another.

i for one would not be excited about fielding this team in the postseason.

i know what you're saying, but really? what if we lived up to our true potential, you don't think we could compete with playoff teams? we will know b/c we will have played most of them this season.

now if we back doored our way in b/c Atl go so injured they just couldnt win and we flukely got in at 7-9 maybe, but even with that record Seattle beat the Stains.

I think we all desperately need a playoff team, it's been pretty brutal to us long fans these past few years not to see our boys winning again.

My hope is gone. I watch and enjoy, nothing more. I care if they make the playoffs, but I'm not going to expect it from them. They are blackbelts in the art of giving away games stupidly these past five years. I believe they have the ability to make the playoffs but I will believe it when I see it. The time for hope is long gone. It's time for some results, we fans have waited patiently for far too long.

I'll still have some hope until we're mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. The reason is not because we might suddenly improve leaps and bounds, but rather because injuries can strike other teams and greatly improve our chances. Imagine if ATL and TB are hit hard with injuries. That's not a far fetched possibility, and even healthy we played them close. Anything can happen, but we need to go on a winning streak now. Beat up on the Seahawks, then get healthy during the bye, and come back fresh and focused.

Except our schedule is hard as hell. If we would've just won that damn Bucs game like we were suppose too..
