Yet you're not a real fan if you aren't positive and are considered "bitching" for telling the truth.
Whats actually negative are those who jump on others for pointing out reality calling them negative, not true fans, telling them they are bitching, etc. because you're just telling every other non-panther fans how much in denial this fanbase is. It's laughable to defend this crap.

This is irrelevant.Football fans are about the here and now and that is the way it should be.The Rams broke one of the longest streaks in NFL history having not had a winning record at any point in the regular season since 2006. The owners of the new longest streak are YOUR Carolina Panthers. No winning record in the regular season since December 28th, 2008.

You also own the longest back to back non winning seasons. Now at 16 years and climbing. Just saying.

Marty's Plan sucks.
Even he knows that now. Hopefully change will come next year because this season is lost.

We are what we are....Would it be inappropriate at this moment to say, "it is what it is"?
And Cam Newton ain't going to hang around Loserville for an extension....
So JR better invest in some talent on D or he will have to rethink his declaration Cam will be the last QB he will draft. Bc a big paycheck alone won't be enough to keep Newton here

Marty's Plan sucks.
Yea his cap management is OK but his assessment of talent is truly lacking. The thing that is most bothersome is he does not seem to understand it. As Frank Garcia pointed out ,he is collecting rbs while failing to address positions like cb and safety shows his lack knowledge in putting together a balanced team Expecting a 5th round cb from a small school to hold down a starting role is hard for me to believe. If you look a Nakas speed, size, vertical jump, and lack of experience should tell you he cannot be a starting safety in the NFL.Put them both together and failure is a given.

I don't think anyone is defending it. Just accepting it and sitting around being all pouty won't accomplish anything though. We as fans need to step up and demand a better product. What real fans we have left atleast.

2009: (no first round selection), Everette Brown, Sherrod Martin and Corvey Irvin
2010: (no first round selection), Jimmy Clausen, Brandon Lafell and Armanti Edwards
2011: Cam Newton, (no second round selection), Terrell McClain, and Sione Fua
To make things a little worse, here are players of the same position- or a need that were picked after our above mentioned studs:
2009: Connor Barwin (taken 4 picks after Everette Brown)...very good player for the Texans
2009: Sean Smith (taken 2 picks after Sherrod Martin)....solid starter in the dolphins secondary
2009: Henry Melton (taken 12 picks after Corvey Irvin)....solid starter on the Bears d-line
2010: Mike Iupati (taken at our spot in the 1st by San Fran)... solid starter on the 49ers o-line
2010: Jimmy Clausen (given our QB situation, i'm not going to knock this pick)
2010: Jimmy Graham or Navorro Bowman (taken 2 and 4 picks after Armanti)....damn
I won't do 2011 yet, because it is still too early, however the 65th pick in that draft (T. McClain) is already off the team, and the 98th pick (Brandon Hogan) is on season ending IR and has lost his position to a 5th round rookie and a 5-9" 7th round pick.
(hindsight is 20-20, blah blah blah)
