If one good thing should come of this its that I don't think that Chud will leave us to be a head coach somewhere.
and you think that's a good thing?

I imagine Rivera saying to Chud, "the option isn't working, go to plan B!"
and Chud replying, "Plan B?"
Then googling "I formation" on his iPhone.

Do yall remember the good old days when our backs actually carried the ball for more than ten times?
What is this demonology?!!??! I do not see a read option play anywhere!!

Our playbook is definitely offensive. Mainly because it resembles a high school playbook, and that offends the hell out of me.
I imagine Rivera saying to Chud, "the option isn't working, go to plan B!"
and Chud replying, "Plan B?"
Then googling "I formation" on his iPhone.
That's Plan C.
Plan B is the option run to the other side of the field.

it's gotten to the point where if we take a shotgun snap and DON'T do a fake hand off or anything I feel like "whats going on, somethings missing"....

It's far too early to call anyone ruined.
They're just not using him, along with the rest of our Offensive players, in anything even resembling properly.

There's a reason you don't play the option in the NFL. Panthers found that out today.
True, but they should have found that out in the first month of the season, when it worked no better than it did today.

why is it impossible for people to think in more dynamic terms than everything having to be so absolute and exaggerated.. they haven't ruined Cam Newton. The scheme just sucks for obvious reasons..

On DeAngelo's fumble, I saw a QB that wouldn't normally pitch it on that play, pitch it, because he was getting tired of taking so many hits. I'm not saying it's Cam's fault DeAngelo fumbled. Not at all, but it's time to stop with all the option plays.
