nobody in their right mind would think we were taking a quarterback with that pick.

no leverage = no trade

The Rams were steadfast in sticking with Sam Bradford too, and they did okay. Teams bidding against each other for the pick creates leverage. Geno Smith and Matt Barkley need to have high demand to get a good haul

We could use another RB!

The RB and LB thing is not funny anymore

Anyone who holds a top5 pick next year is looking to get something close to what the Rams got this year. From the looks of it most teams that may end up with a high pick are teams with future franchise QB already. (Titans, Detriot, Miami and us, excluding Oakland, Jax, Chiefs, Browns)

Geno Smith and Barkley will end up battling to the end to see who's going first unless someone else moves up. And if somehow both of them ends up 1 and 2, now Logan Thomas may pops out due to his physical attributes.

Def a team like the Cardinals, Jets, Bills, Chiefs, heck even the Cowboys will want to trade up.

Hypothetical....if we do end up with a new coaching staff next year....would they pull the trigger on a QB? New regime wants their own guy....I doubt it though, too many more needs right now, we have a good young core though

I know it's a serious question from you but really? Who would be dumb enough to do that?

JR and Hurney or the new GM will bring in a coach who will work with Cam. And who wouldn't want to have a QB like Cam to work with.
