I am honestly getting tired of going through this every fuging year, if he was in doubt of staying here then he shouldn't have signed a new contract.

If he continues to play the way he did tonight he probably should retire.

Literally nothing that he said, and nothing in that article, insinuates that Smith is considering retiring any time soon.

Doesn't bother me a bit, especially with the years and effort he's put in.

Quit clouding this retard thread with facts.

The big retirement speech:

After everybody else leaves I tell Smith that if I can’t come up with a question maybe it’s time for me to walk away.
Smith says he sometimes feels the same way about football.
Can you really envision yourself leaving?
“You’d be surprised,” he says.

It seemed like it was after all the normal interviews, etc and Sorensen was just able to sit there with him for a bit. I see nothing wrong with the conversation. Of course that is something Smith thinks about. He has played for 12 seasons, and this team is regressing.

He's 14th in receiving yards so far this season.

If 89 retires or leave, that fuggn receiver spot all of a sudden becomes our weakest position and to make it worst, we still have holes to fill at FS and DT.

Sucks to be a Panthers fan.

i think smitty will be a man of his word and finish out the contract. He's two years away from having a statue at BOA if he doesn't do anything drastic

11 years of Hurney and the best receiver he's drafted is Brandon LaFell
