Beason wants to stay in the middle

85 posts in this topic

By the time Beason is back to 100% (if ever) Keek will be the better MLB anyway.. And TD is already the better WLB.

Beason will be a very expensive 2 down LB.. Auch And that leaves Anderson as a very expensive back up

One play? He gave up three huge passes over the middle. Getting caught up in play-action is his fault. He has to be able to read that. He's not ready. Needs more experience. I know how hard you were calling for the organization to draft him back in April, so I don't expect you to waiver.

Lynch was the NFL's leading rusher heading in and the Hawks had the worst passing attack in the NFL....so yeah, getting caught is simpy realistic.

And yeah, I was a leading voice in the draft Luke crowd....bc he can ball and I feared Beason would spend at least a season being a shell of himself. Luke flat out balled Sunday and Beason is a shell of himself.....so?

No rookie is flawless.....doesn't mean he isn't ready. Was ready Sunday unless you are just a Beason homer that wants a subpar liability that can't tackle at MLB

Thats your opinion, my opinion is that Beason is the better MLB when he's healthy.

beason isn't healthy so him being better than a rookie 5 games into his career when healthy is a mute point.....

Luke if he progresses as expected will he better at his prime than Abeason in his

Our defense sucks either way so I honestly don't care who starts in the middle. Both will start regardless. Kuechly should just be the one staying on pass downs, not Beast.

I finally figured out what you were saying. We'll say where we are after the bye.

lmao, one game and people want Kuechly in the middle? Strange how quickly some of you forget how he was absolutely destroyed in pass defense for big gains this past Sunday....but knowing this place all the blame will be put on someone else instead of the actual defender who was responsible (Kuechly).

I like Luke, but not good enough to hand the reigns over from a Pro Bowler. Sorry but I'm going to side with logic on this one.

Beason being a pro bowler in the past means nothing.....he isn't that caliber now. Poo happens.

Luke is young and flawed. He easily gave us our best game at the position of the season and it only took him one attempt.

And if you can't understand how a LB might overplay a play action against Seattle occasionally ...you just aren't willing to think rationally.

Luke just looked at home at MLB, he has to be stay there IMO

Beason can be our Derrick Brooks outside, when he gets healthy that is... im giving him a free pass this year, achilles are nasty, and hes piling on other injuries this year too.

Beason was awful in coverage the 4 games prior. Substantially worse than Luke's performance in the middle.

I wanted Beason to stay inside and get Luke up to speed outside but Beason, one of my all time favorites, has simply been terrible in his comeback.
