Prayers for the Olsen family. I can't imagine how scared they are.

Here's hoping for a successful surgery

Prayers to Greg and his family. Absolute worst situation for parents to be in, but hopefully the little guy pulls through.

Also, I heard that he's naming the son after JR, middle name at least. Anybody else heard similar things?

That is true--the middle name. They talked about it in the ESPN segment.

Nothing but good thoughts going to the Olsen family from me. Hoping the doctors can perform a miracle to save the child's life.

Thoughts and Prayers for the whole Olsen family. I jumped for joy when we got him from the Bears. Now we know why he is here. The help he got from JR and this fanbase will help him through what must be the worst feeling in the world.

I have a one year old and thank GOD he is 100 percent healthy.

Those of us with healthy sons or daughters should be very thankful.

Children, regardless of heath, are a gift from God.

I pray for Greg's child and for he and his wife to have strength in this time.

God, please bless the baby with health, and the family with the strength to endure. Prayers are with the Olsens.

Somehow I find this extremely disrespectful and alarming. Who the fug cares about a team, when there's a player's child trying to fight the odds of living.

Well it certainly wasn't meant to be disrespectful and I'm sorry that's the way you took it. I have two kids, one of whom was sickly when he was born so I empathize with them and would never suggest that football was more important. That wasn't the intent or meaning of my comment.
