The Panthers might not be cleaning house.....

Maybe we suck by design so that BOA is more out of town fan friendly. I'm sure all the fans from sh!t cities like Philly love coming to a nice city like Charlotte and taking over the stadium and watching their team stomp the home team. It keeps them coming back.

You know what, you might be on to something. What better way to ensure a sellout in a town like Charlotte than to have a home team that sucks? This town is full of bandwagon fans, transplants, and home team haters. What better way to cater to them than to field a product and promote an atmosphere that caters to them?

I feel ya man I don't think I would have taken those drastic steps but losing seasons after losing seasons can take a roll on your heart as a fan.

I'm a Cubs fan in baseball but I'm going to be honest with you man if I ever move to a new city with an exciting baseball team (with the exception of a few teams) that team could give the cubs a run for its money. I won't ever drop the cubs but I could see myself adopting a new team to pull for.

Panthers are #1 on my hierarchy of needs as a fan so I don't think I could ever just drop them but this continuous bullshit from management and losing are pushing my buttons as a fan. It cots a lot for me to go to games and once MrTouchdown no longer gets excited for tailgates and going to the games they got a serious problem n

If you own PSLs, do you have the option to just not buy them for a season?

Nope

They get sent in a pretty package to the house...oh and Danny Morrison will send you a birthday card when that time of the year comes

So far this season I've been to four games, purchased 3 of the $30 t-shirts, paid $20 to park at each game and spent Lord knows how much money buying beer and food for my tailgates. I'm not even counting the countless $7 beers I but in the stadium.

I'm getting a Kuekly jersey for Christmas, too.

This is a cheap season for me so far. What am I spending all my money on? To go to a game and leave pissed off?

I wonder how long the OP has been supporting the team, because if you we're gonna throw up your hands and quit, 2010 would have been a better opportunity.

At least we had a future to look forward to after the 2010 season.

I can't say I'm exited for 2013 either when Rivera, JR, and Hurney are still going to be running this show.

Living out of state, I end up paying over 20 bucks a week to go to a sports bar to watch the game. I have more expendable income lately, but I did this as a poor graduate student, and it wasn't easy. Spending money to sit in a loud place to watch the Panthers game without commentators just to see the lousy Jake show (post 2008) or the lousy Jimmy show was a pain. I went back week after week, of course, but it wasn't easy. And now, we have 3 terrible games out of 5 again this year. I can't imagine spending the amount of money you stadium guys do to watch that sort of crap. I'd be ticked as well.

And before someone rags me about spending 20 bucks at a sports bar, that covers my wife's food as well.
