Cannot block or tackle--Fundamentals
Execution --dropped passes, horrible passes to begin with, fumbles
We show lack of focus

I wish there was more football expertise on this board. I don't have it but it would certainly be more interesting to break down why the team is under performing and not make the jump after 5 games to the next season.
Draft talk gets boring enough during the off season,
i see it as a combination of a lot of things, but one thing that really stands out for me is the lack of true leadership amoung the players.
sure there are a lot of talented players, but there's no one who takes command, motivates, or jump starts the team on the field.
this team needs someone along the likes of jake delhomme, mike minter, or sam mills.

With the #1 pick I don't think so. Right now it is Smith or trade down.
You sir.. are the prototypical worst type of fan.

trade down, load up on picks, and bring in some guys that will help make this team better immediately. we've only outsmarted ourselves historically when we've tried to get cute on draft day.

If we get the #1 or #2 pick, we trade that sucker for a deal like Washington got this year.
too bad there's no one in the upcoming draft who will command that type of trade.

Are we a running team? Passing team? College option team?
4-3? 3-4?
We seem to have no identity but try to do everything. We would be better to do at least a few things well rather than suck at multiple things

Oh but there is.
who do you think it is, and what team is in desperate need of them to make that type of push?

at this point last year people were saying the same thing because luck was locked in at the top pick no matter what and griffin was projected as maybe a mid first rounder.
there is almost always some quarterback somewhere that rockets up the board.

Geno smith will garner such a price.
Oak
Tb
Cleveland
Buf
Jax
Jets
All need a franchise qb. Not saying all would pay the price but a lot would. Check out his games.

uh no actually it doesn't
this is worse than the goatse thread
Completely agree here. It's not Cam's talent that is the issue at the moment.
