here comes the spin
overall irrelevant, most of us have made up our minds at this point anyway....let the cards fall where they lay
Seems like a complete draw to me. Both had their moments and neither did anything to piss off their base or affect the polls materially. Which was probably the marching orders.
I didn't watch[again].
I can't get a feel for who did better based on the news and internet reactions since they're all over the place.
I agree that it was a tie. Biden had his moments early. When Ryan was doing the Obama promises:results schtick it was damaging. Body language goes to Ryan.
It was the equivalent of the 4th game of the pre-season.
What I'm gathering from blogs/twitter etc.
-Biden's laughing hurt him
-Ryan drank a lot of water
-People keep saying "Bean 2016"
-Biden was on the agressive but that will hurt him. Seems to me that people said the opposite when it was Mitt.
-Biden kept interrupting
-Most people saying Biden won or tie, smaller group saying Ryan won
I hate debates
I would say enough back and forth took place for this to be a non factor.
Emotion high on dem side vs control on the other side
Both held serve. Back to football
the only takeaway might be the VP throwing Panetta and Hillary under the bus on Benghazi. That will probably be the only thing that gets questioned by media tomorrow, especially with the hearings on the Hill.
I'm looking forward to how Saturday Night Live will portray this....I know it will be funny,
So Ryan acts like Obama in the first debate and he some how is praised for it....weird
