The righties are saying "tie" so you know it was a massive blow-out for Biden. They would be yelling that Ryan won if they could at all get away with it.

When you have a debate that gets into percentages, numbers, who said what when, it generally loses most people or is over their head. What is not over their head is how the message is delivered.

That is why I said the CNN poll probably showed Biden coming out on the losing end. Generally, a draw, but for the staged laughter from Biden, which evidently backfired a bit.

Those who think that Ryan won the debate are just wrong. Biden is the political veteran who didn't make the gaffs he usually makes. Ryan is the challenger and had to fight hard tonight. Biden won it fair and square. Those who think it was a tie are just making excuses.

And those who think being ignorant and constantly interrupting is a clear sign of a winner are wrong, imo

Anybody that thinks there is a "clear" winner, is being a partisan hack

Very close, lots of numbers, most people would not know who was getting their facts straight

two approaches, one very passionate, the other pretty calm and cerebral, neither a winner or disqualifying

The two things that will have lasting effects however, were the Benghazi comments by the VP especially since there are hearings going on presently that dispute some of what he said. The other was the smile, laughathon by the VP.

What I'm gathering from blogs/twitter etc.

-Biden's laughing hurt him
-Ryan drank a lot of water
-People keep saying "Bean 2016" :confused:
-Biden was on the agressive but that will hurt him. Seems to me that people said the opposite when it was Mitt.
-Biden kept interrupting
-Most people saying Biden won or tie, smaller group saying Ryan won

I hate debates

Biden's behavior was an embarrassment. His facial expressions and laughing came across very pompous an unprofessional.

Bid rb's continuous interruption of Ryan every other sentence was a joke. That us what you do when you know that your opponents message is superior to yours....you constantly interrupt them and try to prohibit them from making their point,

This debate was exactly why the moderator should have been removed. She allowed Biden to continuously interrupt Ryan and she lost control of the debate.

Buden's facial expression and laughter looked exactly like Herry Sandusky.

It was amazing how Ryan shrunk away when Biden went over the top on him and spoke about his religion and the power the next president has in appointing possibly two supreme court justices.
