What is your biggest criticism of the candidate you plan on voting for?

Money should be distributed based on where people live. It is not currently distributed that way.

The eastern part of the state gets more than its fair share under the current system.

You are the first person I've ever seen that thought the western part of the state gets preferential treatment. Raleigh does, but it is considered eastern NC, not western.

Well,I would have to see a breakdown of why money is spent in some areas before I agree. There are a lot of expenses in the Eastern part of the state that wouldn't really apply to the Western areas. For example, maintaining ports, maintaining beaches, running ferries, and fixing areas damaged by Hurricane. These are all things that are good for the state economy (tourism, transportation and industry), and they are pretty much exclusive to the eastern area.

Also, since you are including the triangle, that is where most government employees live and work, and it means that many more of the state's public universities are in the east.

My biggest critisism about the candidate I am voting for is that he seems to be slowly giving up. He is up against such a huge mountain of false media bullshit that he honestly wants to quit, but he feels that he cant quit because the people that support him (many in secret) need him to fight for all of us, even the majority of the people dont even realize what his opponent is prepared to do.

In 2016, when Ventura is running for president, i will return back to my Libertarian party and roots, but this year Gary Johnson does not even have a chance. I am supporting Barack Obama, and this is big time down here in Florida where we will probably decide the election.

I'm upset that I'm forced to vote for either a Republican from the 21st century or one from the 19th.

The Eastern part of the state gets way more funding per capita than the western part.

I saw this post coming as soon as I read fuzz's.

Romney is too conservative on social issues.

Mcroy will probably try and fire me.

romney/ryan are too anti-liberty on select social issues. i'm not as worried on that front as they have no chance on getting legislation passed on those fronts outside of ndaa. ndaa bothers the hell out of me. foreign policy bothers the hell out of me also. since obama/biden and romney/ryan are effectively the same on those fronts, i am voting based on economic issues. if ron paul were representing, i would have almost no qualms about the guy i vote for. however, given how our window of opportunity to fix the deficit and economy is shrinking, i am voting for the turd sandwich over the giant douche.

I'd say both Romney and Obama are good representations of modern-day neocons.

That's literally the only reason why they are voting for Romney. You could have a fuging Mr. Potato head as the republican candidate, and they would still vote for him. He's a pretty shitty candidate and will be a bad president, and will probably pave the way for a Hillary Clinton presidency in 2016.

Anyway, I'm not voting. NC is already going to be a Romney win. I'd vote for Obama solely because we have less of a chance to go into Iran. Both are going to suck corporate cock and our economy will decline further, but at least Obama doesn't want a literal trillion dollar war machine and another war because we have to suck AIPAC's cock.

More like no matter how shitty Romney may be, he is still an improvement over Ovama. His 4 years have been such an epic economic failure that even Mr. Potatoe Head would be an upgrade.

You use "it's funny how/when" way too liberally.

Like "it's funny how resident socialist and racist cantrell actually thinks that higher education is a fundamental right."

Not so much funny as embarrassingly illogical.

ron paul is a racist. that's obvious to anyone with any basis in reality. for reference, check out his newsletters and associates. gary johnson derived his political ideology from a bad science fiction writer's fever dream. jill stein supports "bro totally bro legalizing bro it bro", not fighting goddamned ignorant wars, repealing the patriot act, and yet for some reason her name never gets brought up alongside racist ron and randian gary. i wonder why that is

It is just a feeling.

I hear what the 'conservative' media has to say. They spew their poison 24/7 and dont even conceal their lies.

To me, it is so bad this year that it isnt even about the Left-Right paradigm, and I am instead choosing to vote against the people that I hear making up complete nonsense out of thin air, and pass it off as 'conservative news' disgusts me.

Obama is not nearly as bad as all of the pot-shots that get taken against him every minute of every day. The Fox News and Limbaugh and Hannity and all of those paid hacks just make me shake my head as I think about what is supposed to be the freedom of the press in this country. Now it is all starting to sound like divide and conquer propaganda to me.

I vote the issues, and I know that Mitt Romney will increase the Military Industrial Complex. Like Obama or not, (I think he is doing OK myself) he is the only person that stands in Mitt Romney's way of becoming the most powerful man in the world.

I was a Ron Paul man, but at the end of the day, Ron Paul was a Republican hack. That is what destroyed the chances of Gary Johnson. It is either not vote at all, or vote for Obama. I'll vote for Obama before I will say that I said or did nothing while the American public allowed the media to crown a president for them. It is pretty disturbing if you see it with a different perspective.
