with Kalil out, and not having a stable middle on that oline, thats gonna force chud to be even more flashy and have cam running around more. dont look for any rb draws up the middle for the remainder of the year.

I suspect this should open up more playing time for Jonathan Stewart in passing situations to add some more blocking support. Jonathan is a beast in pass support as we all know.

This is conventional wisdom around here, but it's just not true. Jonathon has consistently been one of the worst pass blocking RB's in the league.

I don't expect any changes. Why change something that is so flashy. Even if your Ferrari does not start its still a Ferrari right?.... Right?

Tolbert is great in pass pro though....just wanna line up in the I formation or singleback, just having our QB under center running normal plays would be great. How is he supposed to grow as a player if the offensive system is holding him back

Thats precisely what the Cowboys will expect us to do.

Instead, double reverse run option flea flicker.

Hey, we ran that play Saturday in our 5-7 year old flag football game. We fooled those little 49ers bastards and dropped 45 points on them. My defense only gave up one first down because the 16 year old referee was blind! For $7 a game youd think they could get better refs. I run a 2-5 zone defense that is beast mode. Only been scored on twice.

Feel free to reach out to me Chud and Ron. I'll be glad to offer a clinic at your offices.

And why must we play action on every pass play? Cam is a play action in its self he is always a threat to run with it. So the play action every play is kinda stupid as well. I think most of our problem most of the time is Chus tries to get to cute.

Not true. We run a play action fake (whether under center or a fake handoff in the gun) way less than 50% of the time. I think we need to run fake much more than we do now on passing downs.

Between the formations we run and the lack of fakes, it is very easy for a defense to know ahead of time what we are doing.

    • Elbows too pointy. Would not bang.
    • On the surface this team seems greatly improved but in reality we added a geriatric at DE and SS. Our LT is bad enough that the Vikings thought getting Remmers in return was an upgrade, and our greatly improved offense includes a rookie RB who dominated the 5th best college conference and a hybrid RB/WR who isn't good enough to stick at either position. That being said, I'm hopeful it works out.
    • First, let me say that I pretty much only watch the NBA during the playoffs (or when I'm absolutely bored and channel surfing, which is very very seldom). I am really a fan of players and coaches and not necessarily teams except for the Spurs. That being said, I do support the Hornets as they are a North Carolina team---the "home" team, if you will.  The problem is I don't see any way that they will credibly compete for a championship (because they really haven't come close in franchise history). Gone are the days of Grand Ma Ma and Dell Curry, but even then one would be hard pressed to really believe. Unless they happen to draft a legitimate, and I mean legitimate, superstar that wants to be here, I can't see it. I go from year to year in June saying "Perhaps this is the year," but reality sets in during December.  Well, perhaps this is the year that they at least become credible. Monk was arguably the best pure shooter in the draft. Can he create his own shot---break 'em down and break some ankles to be a legitimate point guard or 2-guard? We will see. Bacon may be underrated. We will see. Does the other Superman in Charlotte have enough juice to make a credible run and get the Hornets over the hump. I don't know.  It's just hard to believe that the Hornets will actually become truly relevant when you look at their history, and that has to really suck as a hardcore fan.
