the broncos look like they're about to stomp the chargers in the neck.

Until he proves differently, Rivera is not a good HC, and that has nothing to do with Fox.

Fox ran his course here. Ups, downs, and everything in between, but ultimately it soured and there was no saving that.

Secondly, it's not that easy to compare apples to oranges.

Yes, each franchise has their franchise QB, but one signs players and drafts well while the other refuses to sign anyone but leftovers in FA and drafts are hit AND miss.

They are playing lights out, big nuts football. It takes a true leader like Payton to take over a game. The sheriff is in town, and he brings out the fire on both sides of the ball. We need that hunger, that nasty to us.

And I wouldn't give too much credit to Foxy for Denver's offense. That's mostly, if not all, Peyton's doing.

that's something that i think a lot of people are missing here.

john fox isn't sitting on the sidelines calling peyton's plays. he could just pipe audiobooks into this headset for all intents and purposes when the broncos are on offense.

i also strongly doubt that fox is allowed to micromanage the game in denver like he was here.

Denver's defense has been dominant in the second half.

I am interested in seeing what a Peyton run offense and a Fox led defense can do.

It may indicate what I have always suspected, Fox with a better run organization, still had years of good coaching left in him.

"is he still worse than Rivera?"

Wait... there was a moment in time when Rivera was better than Fox?!?!

Fox took a team that was 1-15 to the superbowl two years later. Rivera won't be better until he equals or improves on that. Same for Harbaugh and several other relatively new coaches.

Fox isn't better or worse than Rivera. They're different. That's all.

Fox has the type of team he's always wanted. Like our Super Bowl year. Rivera isn't there yet.

I am hoping if Fox/Denver does well, it will finally open JR's eyes to the fact that the Panther's organization is poorly managed.

"John Fox is 40-3 when his team scores 26 or more points"
