I'm satisfied with our performance. We got hosed by Americas Refs. Decent sunday for me for the first time since New Orleans.

Losers. That's all this team is. 2-14 is the absolute best we can hope for.

Do all yourselves a favor and avoid complementing the defense. They're just going to crush whatever silver linnings you bring up next week. There is no possible way that secondary can be part of a good defense.

The refs are not to blame. The offense is to blame.

I understand what you are saying but that was a clear PI, which basically killed our chances at winning.

The NFL is too close for the refs to have such a huge impact on a game.

Refs blow calls every game, against both sides. We had a PI on Dallas they did not call. The fact is we did not play well enough to win. Stop blaming the refs for the loss.

Normally I would agree but that was the most critical play on the game and the PI was clear as day, not even marginal. We could've won or Dallas could've stopped us. However we never got the chance to find out.

Two things that drive me nuts when watching the Panthers this year is seeing our offense in shotgun formation on nearly three-quarters of all snaps and the ridiculous option-read. God damn that option read. I feel like breaking my tv and yanking a chunk of hair out every time I see it.

The defense has surprisingly played okay this year, but if the Panthers want to win games then Chud needs to stop with the gimmicks and Cam has to start taking over in the 4th when it counts most. No team will win a Super Bowl, let alone get to one, with a gimmicky option-read offense.

Can someone tell me why our WR's run routes short of the 1st down marker on 3 and short?

Holy krap! How did the Panthers lose that game? Fig Newton got intercepted in the end zone after driving down the field! WTF was that?

Austin even dropped a sure fire pass to give it away for the Cowboys! On top of that, the Cowboys D couldn't tackle a little old lady with a walker for the first half!

Was the PI on Murthy a blow call by the book? Yes
Was it an obvious call in a game on the line situation? No

To me it looked like Murthy is the kind of player that gets touched and after that focus on showing/telling the refs how bad the defender abused him (kind of like soccer players). If he instead makes an all out fight for the ball even if hit a split second early (which he should expect), the way Smith would have done, it would have been a lot more obvious that he had a catch had he not been cheated. And that means you get the call a lot more.
