In a thread about highsmith's plagiarism:

I just saw the USAToday piece and if that is plagiarism then people should just stop righting papers. From that article, all I saw was:

1. the basic definition of a poultry farm
2. two types of fowl that are considered good egg layers.

It was 3 fricken generic sentences defining a fricken poultry farm. That is the excerpt they chose as an example of plagiarism. Exactly how many different ways can one give a basic generic definition of a poultry farm.
