There is literally nobody within the organization in whom I would have trust to make those kinds of decisions right now.

The is most likely someone in the FO running things like a GM would for now. But far as a trade or trades are concern. I very much doubt. You want see no trades happen until we get a new GM in at the end of the season. So no there will be no trades at this point. Don't see no reason to trade right now. Keep things as is for now and see if things changes for the panthers for the rest of the season.

I wonder if JR remembered hearing something about a great story / movie about a GM named Beane, and thought "Yeah let's get that guy !!".

If I hear word that Rob Rogers or Mark Koncz has been named interim GM, I'll likely vomit.

Fortunately, or not, for us, there have been a rash of RB's getting hurt and a lot of them with contenders.

I could see a 2nd rounder for D Williams. Jets, Steelers and several other teams are hurting now at RB.

Nobody will take flyer on TD. Nobody else will want to give anything for anyone else we have. Gamble maybe, before injury

They moved it back this season. Think week 8 is new trade deadline.

No one is giving up a 2nd for DWill. RB's are considered a dime a dozen, and DWill has shown nothing this year that he still has "it". A contender needing a back might give up best case a 5th rounder for DWill, and that might be high.

I'd do Williams for a 4th maybe even a 5th and conditional 4th

Munnerlyn is a good player, but that's offset with his penalties. He seems to me to average at least 1+ 15 year penaty per game. And usually at critical times.

As far as Running back. It doens't look good when your leading rusher is your QB. Even if it Newton.

Not sure TD is tradeable because of his injury history. Besides he has been playing pretty good anyways.

Beason on the other hand might be a possibility with Luke performing well at MLB. Not saying I want Beast gone. Just he would have more potential to be traded than TD if we were trying to trade one of our LB.

I believe the only way out of our cap mess is via trades. Now, please understand that when a player is traded, we still pay the pro-rated bonus we offered over the course of the contract, however, year to year salary will be paid by another team.

If we are going to make some moves, the time is now, and the price will be heavy. We will most likely be looking at late draft picks for some players we have grown to love.
