I live in the Detroit area and the Lions are my 2nd team (yeah, tough year for me) so maybe i'm just biased... but i would KILL to have a coach like Schwartz in Carolina. I love his emotion and passion and his relationship with his players, sure beats Rivera'a blank expressions on the sideline.

Point of the thread was to look at two big disappointments in the league. Before the season, nobody would have predicted the lack of wins from these two clubs.

Then just a couple of things like first pick in the draft QB's and such. No big epiphany or anything. Just lamenting along with Michiganders.

Lions - likely to at least finish 9-7

Panthers - will be lucky to win 6 games (you know it won't happen)
