http://espn.go.com/n...browns-win-more

I want Rivera to succeed, but if he ends upi getting canned, I want Holmgren. The guy has won everywhere and he is good with QBs....He made Favre a star, and hasselbeck a probowler. The packers were sh*t when he took over and so were the seahawks.

I'd take him as coach as long as he had no roster control.

He didn't do anything in Cleveland. What we need is some new blood, not old coaches with old philosophies.

I'd like to see what Rivera has now with Hurney not watching over him... Quite possible that Hurney was the problem... I kind of doubt it, but I'm gonna give the guy the benefit of the doubt until he proves otherwise.

This. As a coach, the guy does great work with QBs. As a GM/front office guy - disaster.

My concern with hiring a guy like Holmgren to be coach is that it will scare away any promising young front office personnel that might be interested in the Panthers GM job.

Holmgren just depletes the talent in Cleveland and Seattle with his wise Front Office skills. Could he please also coach...oh please..can we get negative wins in a season?!

Never much cared for Holmgren, him fizzling out in Cleveland of all places seals the deal.
