for the GM search i think this sould be great, esp. given his respect for cam. the guy has been one of his biggest and most respectable supporters since auburn.

i think he knows enough about the league and would take a personal enough of an interest to make it a great selection.

seriously? You put his respect for cam newton as a precursor to good judgement as to who our new GM should be? Are you high tonight?

If you'd like to elaborate on what you don't understand about what I said, I'd be more than happy to explain it to you.

Seeking outside expert opinion does not mean that you have no idea what is going on. It means you are mature enough to get all the info and opinions you can to make the best possible decision.

Lets see.

Who knows how to build a winning franchise in multiple sporting organizations, knows the NFL backwards and forwards, as well as the Charlotte area, but is not a part of the panthers organization?

Michael Jordan!

I said knows how to build a "winning" organization. :)

Actually I was thinking of Joe Gibbs, but he has a pretty full plate right now.

At least there's news on it now... I mean, to me it appears as though JR is serious about getting things turned around... But at the same time, it's almost an admission that he has no fuggin idea what's wrong with his own club...

This isn't good imo

I see what you are saying and I agree with you. I also think that he should have already identified the issue with the organization and already had someone in mind to come in and fix it. I'm not in disagreement about what he's doing, I applaud it. I just think that it looks bad to not already have had a course of action prior to firing your GM early in the season. I'm not the only one that thinks this either.

And I'm friendly as well. I was not pwned... Do you even know what that means? Or were you just excited that someone used a "hip" term and your name in the same sentence?

I'm glad to see they're going to bring someone in.

It's been my ideal way to handle the search since we were considering there being one.

Good move IMO
