Urban Meyer: He hates losing and leaves when it gets tough. Besides he is happy at OSU.
Nick Saban: Don't see him going to the NFL, he tried that. He has got it made in Bama.
Les Miles: Not that great of a coach to begin with. Don't want.

As much as I dispise Saban for the way he treated my Spartans. He is a winner. A control freak. And lives and breaths football. Although you could probably say those last two about every NFL coach.

You could do worse than Saban. But you can do better. A lot has to do with who our new GM will be. What kind of background he comes from. What kind of team he wants will go a long way in whether Rivera stays or we get a new coach.

If Rivera does get the axe the only people I would consider for our head coaching position is

1. Greg Roman
2. Dave Toub
3. Mike Zimmer
4. Vic Fangio
5. Ray Horton

The only college coach I would consider is

David Shaw

David Cutcliffe is a college coach that I think would be great for Cam and the Panthers, especially when you look at what he has done for Peyton and Eli.

I got a chance to look at how he runs thinks during the UNC vs Duke game, and I was impressed with his offensive scheme.

One thing about Cutcliffe is he hates the read option.

He almost gave it away with that stupid fake punt on the 50 yardline. Its keyed the UNC comeback.

Talked to Coach Minter today and he said that he wished the Panthers tried to hire some of their former players as positional coaches... lol

College head coaches rarely workout. Few exceptions but not many.

The majority of coaches hired in the NFL don't work out.

The old you're hired to be fired adage, I like it.

The only college coach I'd be interested in hiring would be Chip Kelly. That way if we suck at least he'll reimburse us.
