Huddle today: win more games you're good in my book.

Huddle in December: you went 6-10, ruined our draft position, still underachieved and didn't improve from last year. GTFO

We have been competitive. Sort of. So if we can become more consistent Rivera may just keep his job.

We have cut down the penalties. We have played better on D and ST. We have added some talent. We just cannot seem to stop shooting ourselves in the foot. Once that ends, the wins will come. If that is with Rivera, I am fine with that.

Finishing with a better record than last year and for him to learn how to use the clock properly. Also, how to use time outs damn it.

I've got news for you, don't expect more than 5 read option plays the entire game.

Actually 5 is too many, unless they're all play action fakes.

I'm still undecided on Ron, but Chud has to go, no matter what.

Yeah showing emotion on the sideline is overrated. These are grown men/professionals. The rah-rah stuff is ok if that's your style, but it's clearly not Coach Rivera's style.

It's about looking prepared come game time, managing the clock better, and putting your players in a position to be successful. Show me that, and I'll keep you around another year. If not, see ya.

This is really my fear... We'll win just enough to FUG our draft order. I've already said it, but you possibly will be right

I wasn't trying to be a dick, was just speaking from personal experience.

Nor was I, and I feel you on that. But his presser was pretty revealing for trying not to say much

I like the guy and after watching the last 2 pressers I feel for him. Not sure if I want him gone yet or not. It really matters not what we want, but I hope he turns it around and saves his job. The one unknown we have is none of us have any idea what JR has said to Rivera after Hurney was let go. Maybe he was told his job is safe, maybe not.

Honestly, at this point? No. I think he's shown why he interviewed for so many positions and never got the head coaching job.

I haven't concluded that Rivera needs to be fired.

same here.

i want to see how he responds to struggles and failures like what is going on this year. if he comes out on top, or at least us finishing better than last year, then i'll be cool with him staying. main thing for me is growth and i look at the whole season, not just parts of it.

if i see no ability to recover and make things better from here out, and if the team doesn't improve...esp. if there is a regression then we should move on. i'm not gonna decide one way or the other though until the end of the season.

i am really curious to see what this team looks like personnel-wise at the end of the season with him having more control.
