Our offense is just so bland and so predictable

It's not explosive at all. This read option fake handoff has destroyed everything. It really is simple to run the ball traditionally and spread teams out with 4-5 WR and just tell Cam take what they give you

I thought I heard last night the Rivera was going to do the play calling himself. I don't know if that is such a good idea. Rivera hopefully will be using Shula or something for input.

A year ago we were raving about how much of a genius this coaching staff was for how they were bringing Cam along.

I wasn't a huge fan of the playcalling last year. I thought we ran Newton a little too much (with designed QB runs). I was a fan of the scheme though. 2 TE sets is a dream scenario for rookie QBs, though Cam made most of his money with Smitty. Cam has been making big boy throws since the beginning. Not sure why Chud reverted to read option.
