I want to make a stencil and paint the the places where there is embroidery on the fabric because I don't have an embroidery machine. I do not have time to search the interwebs for it right now.

Please help by finding an image so that I might be able to print it out on a piece of card stock to use as a stencil. I have some drawing skills so I might be able to deal with sketching something out but I would need something to copy.

Or if'n you're a really awesome artist, just make the stencil for me in black and white. ;)

I would really appreciate your help. :sword:

Thanks for thinking of me. :) I saw that stuff earlier in the week while I was searching for some stuff. It's pretty neat stuff, it bonds to itself, easy to cut, and you can heat it with a hair dryer to make it bond. I would like to get some just because I'm always working on some kind of project and I can see how wonderflex could be helpful. It's expensive though.

I decided to make the arm plate and the buckle plate out of tin. I have several christmas cookie tins lying around doing nothing, they are just rigid enough to hold shape and thin enough for me to bend, cut and hammer out the way I want it.

It's almost finished. Need some minor adjustments, the belt, the vembrace and detailing.

It's pointy but you cant really tell in the photo. I dunno if we're going to have enough time to do the hidden blade. I want to though.

When I get it all done I'll post several better pics.

I think you've done an excellent job, and with all your craftiness I think you've missed your calling. You ought to look into doing a business venture in this area.

I know you're probably going to want to keep it, but I bet once Halloween passes you can sell that suit for a pretty penny to the right buyer...

I definitely will.

I'm a bit disappointed because I cant do the stenciling. I tried to but because my hand is hurt I cant hold and apply enough pressure with the xacto knife. I even tried the burner thing I have that's made for cutting stencils and burning wood but I cant hold the thing. I was thinking of running to the store and getting some iron on transfer printer sheets but I don't have time today. I'm pretty much happy with it so far and my kid thinks its the most awesome thing ever so I guess I did good. :)
