Steve Reed@SteveReedAP
Ron Rivera says Jonathan Stewart will start at RB against the Bears again this week.

Jonathan Jones@jjones9
When Rivera told DeAngelo about the changes to the rushing game, he said he didn't agree with it, but handled it like a pro

Deangelo should've told him he didn't agree with his sh*tty coaching.

Rivera said he wants to get the backs in a rhythm instead of subbing them in and out every play.

Basically, D-Will will only get 10 carries at the most...writing is on the wall for him

That's so overwhelmingly smart that it's stupid they didn't do it before!

Great, now give Stew an ACTUAL running play where he doesn't have to hesitate because he doesn't know whether or not he's getting the ball.

i for one am tired of the split backfield. there needs to be a clear cut lead and backup. either of these guys would be so much more effective getting 15+ touches a game.

Ron Rivera on how the Panthers plan to use their RBs: "We want one guy to develop a rhythm and then if he gets hot, ride him."

The death of smash and dash. Sad, really. DWill is my favorite Panther.
Knowing Panther luck, the minute DWill is traded or released, Stewart will get hit so hard that his spine will shoot thruough his skull and his spleen will fly out of his ass.... against the Saints*.....after the whistle, of course.

#Panthers sticking with Jonathan Stewart at tailback; Rivera says DeAngelo Williams should see more work than last wk.

it looks like we are going to see a much heavier run emphasis like they said.

It worked in 08 lol dwill and stew had over 1000 yards, this is not 08 though and thank god we have change. That TB game in 08 was awesome first dwill took a chunk of yards then stew then back to dwill. Idk why we couldnt evet get back to that...
