Chip Kelly - offensive minded and fiery on the sidelines. That's what the people want, right?

Just give me a QB guru who understands the pro offense, no gimmicks.

The thing I would like about Kelly is his creativity and up tempo. He would be dumb though to run the read option at this level.

Mike Zimmer, D.C., Bengals. How this guy hasn't become a HC by now is a mystery to me.

Lane Kiffin is one of the very few college guys I would consider and I still wouldn't consider him.

Mike Zimmer is a very good choice, IMO.

Yeah let's take another defensive coordinator for a head coach.

Question is this....which coach is creative enough to win with what we have on the roster? We're handcuffed when it comes to making major personnel moves for the next two years. Which coach is creative enough to win with only minor tweaks?

I don't get it....

2012 Huddle - this read option is bullshit. We need to run a pro style offense.

Hey, let's bring in Chip Kelly.

Everyone does know Chip Kelly would run a "college" offense in the NFL right? Especially with Cam?

Mike Zimmer and Winston Moss not.

Ugh :(

Has JR ever hired a coach from a university?

He interviewed Spurrier.

Word was it went terribly.

Well, he hired a consultant to look for a new GM. Maybe JR does see his way isn't working and will let the new GM hire the coach he wants, pro or college? Could be...

I figure Morrison will have some say there too.

Given his background, no stretch to think Morrison may be more open to the college option.

Probably so. Morrison has done a great job as well, maybe has provided a good example of a college guy coming to the pros and doing well for RIchardson.
