Greg Cosell said that the reason for the defensive improvement these last two weeks is because kuechly has been the best MLB in football these last two weeks. Kinda feel the same way, along with TD playing more snaps

He's a lot of fun to watch. When he gets his hands on the ball carrier they go down, and that's more than can be said for many of our defenders.

having a guy thats a sure tackler will help a lot of things. Beason just couldn't wrap up and bring people down, probably because of his outstanding injuries to his knee and shoulder.

I think kooch might be THE best by years end. I wouldn't say that he is now. Just my opinion though.

Not many 4-3 MLB I would take over Keek right now. Hell, Urlacher is the only one I can come up with off the top of my head.

With TD playing very well, and steady eddy Anderson. We very well could have one of the best 4-3 LB corp in the league.

Get this D some help at S, and it can be good enough to get us where we want to go.

He has 34 total tackles at the MLB spot. Plus Int and fumble recovery (2 or 3 games?)

I think he means just over these last two weeks nobody has been better, he'll have a tough test against forte....we've never stopped forte since he came into the league. The run D should be able to handle it

This, plus he helps clean up others' tackles. At worst it seems Kuechly makes first contact and slows them down enough for other defenders to gang tackle.

He gave up some receptions to Witten, but he didn't give up much over 8 yards, and relatively zero YAC. Witten isn't the most agile, but he's bigger than Kuechly and he went nowhere.

I think Luke will make national headlines this weekend....

This game IMO sets up great for Luke. Forte isn't a power RB or speedster. Chicago relies heavily on him and I fully expect Luke all over him and to sniff out some of how they incorporate him in the pass.

Whether he returns or not, I don't think Jon Beason is ever getting the MLB spot back unless Kuechly is hurt.

Honestly, given his contract and his recent penchant for injuries, it's conceivable the next GM might decide to cut ties.

Go back a few weeks and you can find alot of people saying Luke was a wasted pick.... all part of the "gotta have it now mentality"

There's a reason no draft guys (legit guys) had anything bad to say about Keek coming out of BC. Mayock couldn't say enough about him and I'm thankful we have him.
