I was never a fan of icing the kicker. I thought that was a good non call. Why "ice" the kicker and give him a practice kick?

But... since he made the kick... it was the wrong call!

We had a timeout to burn... why not use it?

Answer: our head coach is one of the worst clock/game mangers ever!

I'm with you. We could have used the TO either to get our defense reset as the Bears ran slant after slant all the way down the field, or we could have used it to ice Gould. We did neither. This coaching staff needs to go. It's like Rivera thinks TOs carry over from game to game. If you have a TO, find a way to use it!

I guess i should have stated this in the OP. Why save it if you weren't planning on using it to ice! I agree, the most opportune time to use it would have been as we were once again watching 10yd pass after 10yd pass after 10yd pass after 10yd pass...
