Been prowling around but had something cross my mind so I decided to make a topic and see what you guys think. Let's say for some reason that Rivera finds some way (highly unlikely at this point) to keep his job next year. If he was somehow able to get Norv Turner as an OC to help develop Cam, would you deal with Rivera for one more season? Or even if Rivera leaves and Norv was available, would you be comfortable with Norv as the HC?

Norv is garbage as HC. Not as bad as Rivera but still garbage. As an OC, yes. But what's to say he's going to be fired this year?

Norv is horrible he ran Washington to the ground and is doing it in San Diego.. No Way!! I liked Rivera's fire today on the sideline.. like to see where it goes this year before calling him done.. Another new coach equals another 2-3 years of rebuilding.. No to Norv!!

Lol I don't want the dude as a HC...personally I think he's lasted as long as he did in San Diego because of the run of appearances that he had in the playoffs the first couple of years that he got there. Outside of this year (hadn't checked offensive rankings for them), the man has had a top 10 offense all the years he's been there. I think he'd be a great OC for us, but more than likely he'd probably want to be a HC. As far as what I've heard from friends who live in the area, both he and AJ Smith are on thin ice with the owner so it may become a possibility that he may be gone if they don't make the playoffs.

No no no and double hell no. Norv can stay away. People think he would be a good choice as OC. BS Just like people thought Spags would be a good DC for the Saints this year even tho he suck as a HC for the rams for the past 3 year before. But Spags turning out to be poo so far for the Saints. That will happen with the Panthers as well. Screw Norv and Ron both. One will be gone and one will never come here. Time to clean this team up and go with a new direction overall. Plain and simple.
