If I was Lattimore I would tell them to fix my knee, rehab my knee, and then let me go workout and prove myself to scouts ala Willis McGahee and Frank Gore. There is no reason that kid needs to play in a USC uni again...he has proven that he is a workhorse back. If he can prove that he can regain his speed and explosion after this injury through workouts then thats all he should need to do. No matter what he will never be a 1st round draft pick...he'll probably go in the 3rd and have to earn his way onto a roster. So why risk more injury at the college level?

He should just get healthy and leave college. Nothing he can prove by going back IMO.
Even if he does come back and play well in college, he won't be go in the 1st IMO.
