Cites a team source that a "contending" team has inquired about Williams.
My guess? The Packers.

I'd be happy for DWill.

Would be mine as well, and I think it would be a great fit although DWill hasn't been the greatest receiver out of the backfield, which they prefer.
I'd be happy for DWill.
nor is his good in pass protection...which is key in green bay's offense.

He has a gear that J Stew can only dream about... Please Football Gods, if we do deal him, please allow us to get something of serious worth in return

And we've also changed the team name to CardinalsThough the net impact would be offset by $2.77 million in base salary that will be avoided by not having Williams on the roster, the Cardinals would have to restructure a few contracts to facilitate any deal, given that the team had only $5.3 million in cap space last month.

I'd be devastated to lose DeAngelo... I'm being serious too. It'd be a tough pill to swallow knowing that he's being severely under utilized here. I will go into FULL depression mode of we deal him

I don't want to let him go either, but it may be best for both sides.
That being said, you may want to hide all sharp objects ASAP.

I would have to think it was either the Packers or the Broncos, as Phinisher mentioned... May be more likely that it was the Broncos considering they reportedly were bidding on him up until the last minute in FA, so they may be willing to pay him what they would've given him otherwise, plus Fox is familiar with him.
Yeah, I hate that we're even considering this, if its true. As bad as his contract is, we'd only be compounding the mistake if we let him go. The bigger mistake was re-signing Stewart after sigining Tolbert in FA, which gives us two RBs with similar skill set.
With that said, if DW is traded I certainly hope we get the best value for him and he goes to a contender.

I might seriously cry... No homo
I will be very nervous until Thursday refreshing this web site and my twitter feed... I just pray that we don't take a shitty deal for him. It doesn't benefit us at all to make a rash decision with no GM... This is just bad juju
