Amazing Talents at the WR Postition in 2013

Adams is good but he is no Cobb. Cobb made plays on everyone in the SEC. I really wanted him duringthe draft.

Either way: Joe Adams is underutilized bc he is watching the games. He is not ready for primetime.

Yea, Lee is imo better than Woods. He is fast and so quick of the line.

Lee is the better receiver, but Woods has faster straight line speed. Either one would be a welcomed addition to this offense, though I really hope we don't suck bad enough to draft Lee next year. May not matter anyway because the word on a lot of USC boards is that Woods is one junior who is seriously thinking about coming back....

Agreed. I think right now, Woods is more pro-ready than Lee, but in a couple years ... dear god, Lee is an animal and he's only a sophomore!!

Tavon Austin.

He is everything we wished Murphy, Edwards, Adams, or Pilares were and will never be.

He will probably run something ridiculous in the 40 that will up is stock, but he has true breakaway abilities. He isn't a pure receiver but he is that specialist that has game changing ability that has the skills to crack the depth chart at WR unlike those named previously. I still have hope for those guys, but most of them walk if we were to land this kid.

My favorite is corrdelle Patterson by far.

Me too! The dude is so fast for his size. Like I said, he reminds me of a fast, fast, faster Dwayne Bowe. My second option is his former teammate Da'rick Rogers.

What about Stedman Bailey?

He's a winner.

Pretty good but dnt need another small receiver.

Take either Patterson, Rodgers, or Patton in the 2nd.

Not sure about the 1st. It depends on where we pick and who is available.

Prefer to get Byrd in FA then go DL or OL in the 1st. I really like that OT from Texas A&M

Wouldnt mind Star or Hankins either.

    • Could be. Hope to be.  I see the big time potential in both. In my opinion-The biggest obstical I see (not only with them but in many young players) is their self confidence. Taking it from "flashing" to "breaking out" or "to the next level" is an imaginary obstacle that stands in the way of a lot of players with potential. To get over the hump, it can take a play, a game or a season to get their mind right with the confidence that they can perform at another level.  KB and Funch have good coaching and all the skills necessary to be the guy, but in the end, they are human too. Most won't admit but the majority of people perform in a "fake it till you make it" environment so to speak.   Lack of confidence or conversely, proving to yourself you can do it, is not only important to the average Joe like you and I but to them as well.  Some guys get over the hump and exceed their own expectations enough to where it becomes standard practice. Others never quite get that bit of confidence or courage to take it one step above their self imposed ceiling.  Im optimistic so I think these two guys can break through. We will certainly have a good read on their direction this season.  PS- Did I use enough quotations?
