a very messy, generally inconsiderate roommate that uses your things without asking and always has a bunch of friends over to the house. upside - is out of the house a fair amount
or
an insanely lazy pothead roommate with little social life, an incredibly annoying girlfriend that's always over, that watches TV all day and is generally always at the house. upside - is fairly easygoing and is relatively clean

forgot to mention, option b comes with a little shithead dog that is poorly trained, barks randomly in the middle of the night, and occasionally bites people that comes over.

I'd also go with option B. Once a roommate starts using your stuff and etc. that's just a bad situation
Option B sounds like half my roommates in college the last few years before I graduated haha

thank god I met my husband at 23 and have lived with him ever since so I didn't have to deal with this too long

I woulda gone with optionB, but then you added that mini-mutt caveat... Fug.... Id rather have a clean/leave my stuff alone roommate but the ankle biter is a deal breaker... Im finding new options...
