"Serious" chance D-Will gets traded

RB is becoming nearly the most disposable position on offense in the modern NFL. carrying the weight of giant contracts for two running backs is hard to justify.

If that was the case then we wouldnt have so many of these supposed teams inquring about him. Also if Hurney did one thing right, it was structruing the contracts to where we would not be forced to absorb a big cap hit from Stewart and D-will in the same season.

Thanks!! So in essence we would be paying $9.6 mill in dead money next season but then be freed of his contract? If so, that sounds good to me since we're not using him at all.

Do you expect the coaching staff who is not using him to be around next year?

DWill is still the best RB on this team without question. Check some stats and get back to me bro.

He had a better avg against Chicago and he got almost all of his carries Out Of The WILDCAT! Don't come at me or anybody else that really knows what's up with that BS!

Stew has gotten the nod, but he's still not better than DeAngelo.... That's a FACT based off of stats... Not an opinion just because I like him.

Go talk to the people that watch the tape and then come talk to me. DeAngelo is getting paid WAY too much. Stew is 26 years old. Do the math. The contract is terrible, and he will be moved.

He can obviously still play, but his contract will handcuff the new GM

Deangelo WIlliams stats since Stewart was drafted

08- 273 carries,1515 yards,5.5 ypc,18 rushing TD's, 0 fumbles

09- 216 carries,1117 yards,5.2 ypc,7 rushing TD'S, 3 fumbles

10- 87 carries, 369 yards, 4.2 ypc, 1 rushing TD, 1 fumble

11-155 carries, 850 yards,5.5 ypc, 7 rushing TD's, 0 fumbles

12-61 carries, 210 yards,3.4 ypc,2 rushing TD'S, 1 fumble

cumlative snaps over this period

792 carries, 4061 yards, 5.1 ypc, 35 rushing TD'S, 5 fumbles

Heres Stewarts stats over the same period

08- 184 carries,839 yards,4.6 ypc, 10 rushing TD's. 2 fumbles

09- 221 carries,1133 yards, 5.1 ypc, 10 rushing TD's,3 fumbles

10- 178 carries, 770 yards, 4.3 ypc, 2 rushing TD's, 4 fumbles

11-142 carries, 775 yards, 5.5 ypc, 4 rushing TD's, 1 fumble

12- 52 carries, 184 yards, 3.5 ypc, 0 rushing TD's, 0 fumbles

cumlative stats

777 carries, 3701 yards,4.7 ypc, 26 rushing TD's, 10 fumbles.

So with 15 more carries Deangelo has fumbled 5 less times, has 9 more rushing TD's, and is averaging more yards per carry.

Before anyone takes this and goes full retard aand making facetious comments, I would like to mention that I love both backs and am not in favor of trading either one.

True that. Trust me I would like to keep our RBs intact. Too good of a trio not to run it down our opponents throat on every snap. Who would've thought we'd miss Foxball?

Evan Silva quoting Adsm Schefter on twitter:

Schefter on DeAngelo Williams: "Could be on the move. #Panthers continue to listen to phone calls. There is interest from other teams."

Also said Dwayne Bowe, Steven Jackson, & The Golden Calf of Bristol not going anywhere.

I still say DW goes to the Packers.

DeAngelo is getting paid too much... I agree, but that wasn't your initial argument.

Do you have access or know the RB coach personally? I'm curious as to why you think J is the better RB...

Here's what I do know, and not all of it for the sake of time... If I had to compare the two this is what I would say.

JStew- more physical tough back, better pass blocker, I disagree with the notion that he has better hands (but it seems that most really believe this to be true), slower of the two, more injury prone of the two

DeAngelo- more finesse style back, faster, more elusive, and has that "other" gear that Stew lacks.

Here's how I would use them mostly:

Run J in between the tackles, run Williams to the outside... Then towards the end of games, switch it up just when the defense "thinks" they have figured it out. You can use them both n screen plays equally...

The KEY to all of this is to Fuggin utilize what we have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
