TruCatzFan 592 Report post Posted November 1, 2012 I like it A LOT!! The thought of staying a Panther never really crossed my mind because the thought of leaving never crossed my mind. In my mind, I'm going to continue being a Panther until told otherwise. Panthers interim general manager Brandon Beane said the team is not shopping Williams, or any other player. Beane said no teams have contacted him this week about Williams, but league sources have told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that Carolina has been contacted in recent weeks by teams around the league inquiring about the availability of Williams. Sloth 924 Report post Posted November 1, 2012 He either restructures his stinker of a contract or he's gone this off-season regardless. Unless we hire another sports writer for General Manager.
Montsta 16,012 Report post Posted November 1, 2012 I love how the NFL is like TMZ for grown men. Team: we are not shopping anyone, have not been contacted by anyone, and do not plan to contact anyone regarding a trade. Media: uh uh. My source says so. ItsPantone278 991 Report post Posted November 1, 2012 DWill talked about using this to get his twitter followers up. A lore of people will take that the wrong way, but I find that to be pretty damn funny
GolfRasta 187 Report post Posted November 1, 2012 But..NFL/ESPN doesn't lie just to have something to talk about.
Matthias 1,403 Report post Posted November 1, 2012 I would like D-Will to stay next year, but that contract will have to be restructured a good bit. Plus, we are going to need a true fullback to help our boys out. When Hoover was here, we tore the league up. Without him, we stink.

csx 8,007 Report post Posted November 1, 2012 I also created a thread on the fact that he won't be traded... But someone moved it to smack... So much for supporting the team and its players. Apparently it's frowned upon here. Link: Telling anyone who has a different opinion than you to eat a dik is smack talk.

CatMan72 4,720 Report post Posted November 1, 2012 It is funny that none of these media outlets bother to contact the Panthers for confirmation... I guess that says something about the current state of "journalism".
